The IAA’s Role in  Making It Happen

The United Nations Agenda 2030 and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals are not just political statements — they are being turned into enforceable financial and technical standards.

The International Actuarial Association (IAA) has openly committed to this agenda. Their 2023–2027 Strategic Plan explicitly calls for deeper engagement with supranational organizations and positioning actuaries as the global experts on risk and sustainability.

This is being executed through two main channels:

• The IAA AI Task Force (active 2024–2026) is rapidly integrating Artificial Intelligence into actuarial work. Their stated goal is to make actuaries “fully AI-enabled” so they can embed sustainability metrics, climate risk, and SDG-related assumptions into insurance pricing, risk modeling, and financial reporting.

• IFRS 17 Implementation gives actuaries the perfect mechanism. Because this new accounting standard requires constant updating of assumptions and risk calculations, the IAA is guiding the profession to weave Agenda 2030 goals directly into official insurance valuations and balance sheets.

In simple terms:

  1. The UN sets the political goals.

  2. The IAA trains the actuaries.

The actuaries turn those goals into numbers that every insurance company in the world must report.
This is how a “sustainability agenda” becomes financial reality — quietly, technically, and at global scale.

Our Opposition - The Ethical Actuary - The Five SDGs We Reject

While the IAA and global institutions push all 17 SDGs as “the future,” we are in clear and open opposition to five of them in particular. These five goals represent the most direct attack on human freedom, bodily autonomy, and natural living:

  • SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) – Used to justify mandatory medical interventions, digital health passports, and the suppression of natural and traditional healing methods.

  • SDG 4 (Quality Education) – Being used to standardize global indoctrination and limit parental rights over their children’s education and worldview.

  • SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) – Being weaponized to claim state ownership over water sources and criminalize off-grid water collection.

  • SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) – The blueprint for restricting movement, pushing people into smart cities, and ending private land ownership.

  • SDG 13 (Climate Action) – The justification for the largest wealth transfer and control mechanism in history, using flawed climate models to dictate what we can eat, travel, build, and own.

These are not benevolent goals.

They are the five main pillars being used to lock humanity into a fully controlled, technocratic system.

The IAA is actively helping price these goals into insurance, pensions, and financial systems through IFRS 17 and their AI Task Force. They are turning political control into financial enforcement.

We reject these five SDGs completely.

  • We will not insure them.

  • We will not price them.

  • We will not legitimize them.

This is where the Ethical Actuary draws the line.

That is why we are building the Freedom Collective and the Ethical Actuary.
