What happens when we step outside the traditional structures of work, housing, and settlement and return to something much simpler: service, exchange, land, and community? The American Au Pair is Sheena Alexandra's journey of connection and service - traveling from homestead to homestead, exchanging her skills, time, and creativity for food, water, and shelter.
Now, New Earth Entertainment is taking that journey one step further. We are looking for farmers and homesteaders willing to open their land and their lives for a 3- or 6-month documented experience. Together, we explore what it really takes to create a more self-sufficient way of living - from growing food and caring for animals to maintaining land, creating shelter, and building community.
